Ingredients:
1 cup Molino Favero corn flour
4 glasses of water
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon butter
Optional: grated cheese, fresh herbs or pepper
Preparation:
Heat water with salt in a pot until boiling.
Gradually, stirring constantly, pour in the cornmeal.
Reduce the heat and continue stirring for about 20–25 minutes, until the polenta becomes thick and creamy.
Remove from heat, add butter and, if desired, cheese or herbs. Mix well.
Serve as a side dish to meat or vegetable dishes, or as a separate hearty meal.
