This vegetable contain vitamins C and E, as well as vitamins B, K and PP. Carrots contain up to 16% fiber, which stimulates the digestive tract and improves bowel movements. In turn, the sweet taste of carrots is provided by sugar (6-10%).
With carrots, a person absorbs potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus and free amino acids. In addition, carrots contain a relatively large amount of calcium (10 carrots equivalent to a glass of milk).
