🍮 Arepa pudding recipe
📝 Ingredients:
1 cup PAN cornmeal
2 cups milk (you can also use plant milk)
½ cup condensed milk or ⅓ cup sugar
2 tbsp butter or oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
Raisins, nuts or coconut flakes – optional
👨🍳 Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
In a large bowl, mix together the milk, condensed milk (or sugar), eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
Slowly add the cornmeal, stirring carefully to avoid lumps.
Stir in your chosen toppings – raisins, nuts, etc.
Pour the dough into a greased baking dish (~20x20 cm or round cake pan).
Bake in the oven for about 35–45 minutes , until the pudding is golden and the center is firm (you can test with a toothpick).
