Paella is a traditional Spanish dish that is particularly popular all over the world. It originated in the Valencia region, on the east coast of Spain. Today, every region in Spain has its own version of paella. Its main ingredient is rice, to which are added toppings ranging from pork, shellfish, fish, squid, to beans, artichokes and peppers.
