RECIPE
Mulled wine with star anise
Ingredients:
750 ml red wine
2–3 pieces of star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
3–4 cloves
3 tbsp. sugar or honey
Orange slices
Preparation:
Pour wine into a saucepan, add spices and orange slices.
Heat over low heat, but do not boil.
Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve warm, garnished with a fresh orange or an additional star anise.
