At first, in the 90s, we operated several spice shops "AVOKADO" throughout Latvia. People came not only for spices, but also for advice, inspiration and just good conversation. However, with the pandemic, we had to close the shops and move everything online. Thus began a new stage in our story.

 

Our spices are now available online throughout Europe. We deliver them both to homes and parcel lockers throughout the Baltics. We import the highest quality spices from 30 different countries and carefully select each batch to ensure excellent quality.

 

Our spice master, Mārcis – a food technologist with real passion and knowledge – oversees the creation of the blends. He honors his father’s traditions while creating new, modern spice blends. Meanwhile, Lāsma makes sure that our offering is always relevant, exciting and beautifully presented – both in store and on social media.

 

Our customers have trusted us for years – including professional chefs and restaurants who choose our blends for their dishes. This is a great honor for us and a testament to how important taste, quality and heart work are.

 

But we want to give more than just spices – we want to inspire. Each blend tells the story of a culture, region or culinary tradition – from Indian curry to Mexican chili. Our goal is to inspire the desire to cook, try something new and share the joy.
